Get to know me a little bit

I studied industrial design engineering at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. Ever since I started practicing I've been involved in user experience projects, the main reason why I like it is because every single project is different, they always have different contents, so the time I invest in data analysis is very interesting and makes me learn something new all the time. This is one of the most important qualities of a designer, understanding the field I am working in, because it makes me able to translate the information into something useful for the target audience.

Another aspect that motivates me in this area is the human approach. Nowadays we are constantly surrounded by technologies that bring us closer to the digital era, many of them make some tasks easier but others open a gap between people, hindering human interaction. The human centered design process allows me to interact empathically with users and I personally enjoy this part of the process because knowing you are making technologies, spaces, or services well thought for users is very satisfying, and you can't achieve that if you don't get involved with the users you want to make happy.

I'm an organizing freak, this may be related to some aspects of my personality. Of course I think is something positive for this kind of work because I love when I find a data mess and get to organize it, at the beginning I may be a little bit overwhelmed but once I start, everything flows.

You need to know that I am a team player, I am very organized and like to work alone when is required, but working in a team, with clients, project managers and developers is great, I love the diversity of opinion and how other people can help you see from other perspectives. Speaking from my own experiences, when you get to work in a team, the results are quite better and every day the workflow improves.
